Welcome to Genuine Kennels (established in 2005),
specializing in Norwegian Elkhounds.

Although my primary focus is on elkhounds, GK is also home to a multitude of other breeds, most of which are of "Outdoorsy" origins or purpose including english springer spaniels and labrador retrievers. Raising and breeding dogzwithin the petz 3 and 4 games, I aim to produce quality lines in both PKC show and temperament.

News & Updates

April 16, 2012 - It has been quite some time since the last update, so there are many to make. Corgi and Vallhund are no longer active breeds here at GK. Many of my dogs have championed (Elkhounds, and Spaniels mostly) and are now working toward Conformation GCh titles at the PKC. I have a couple new pups, including some first generation elkhounds, 2nd generation Spaniels, and a couple of Siberian Huskies. Will be expanding the kennel once more int he near future to include another Elkhound or two, some Springer Spaniels and a pair of Karelian Bear Dogs. Also pardon the lack of records on some pages; I am in the process of updating show records for each individual dog and reformating some of the website, so please be patient with updates :)

November 22nd, 2011 -There are a bundle of updates this month! We have many new champions plus a couple of new additions to the team. We currently have two champed Labrador Retrievers, 6 champed Norwegian Elkhounds, 3 champed English Springer Spaniels, 2 champed Pembroke Corgis, and 2 champed Swedish Vallhunds! Also, newest addition Gus (Cesky) is already well on his way to a champ title, while Mercutio (Pembroke) and Todd (Vallhund) are newly registered. Look out for a whole new Elkhound and Lab team soon!!

October 4th, 2011 - Updated points and Champions. My elkhound team is back up to 3 active show dogs: Avalanche (Deece x Abigale), Jossilynn and Quincy (1st Gen Foundation Stock). Also, new Spinone Italiano crew,along with a mate for my Karelian Bear Dog and Siberian Husky. A couple of retirements from Ceskies Queen & Carrick; Litter expected soon!

July 20th, 2011 - Updated all points for all dogz within the kennel. Have some new Champions as well! With two new Elkhound Champs, I have also bred a five pup litter available on the PKC forum!

May 18th, 2011 - Added some new pages in the Crew section: Cesky Terrier and Australian Shepherd. Just a couple of new crew members and a few updates to points. KEIL is getting real close to his Champion title, and has earned his GPC along with DEECE. BRANDY and PORTER are awaiting approval for GPC now. TILIA is one point from Champion also!

May 9th, 2011 - Genuine Kennels crew site is back after a 2 year hiatus! Unfortunately, I have been unable to bring back my old crew due to several unfortunate computer crashes, but with the return of the site and kennel name, I have introduced a brand new crew with equally promising foundation stock!

Thanks to BlimeyCat (Left Behind) who has bred me a 3rd generation Elkhound, i have been able to come back with a little touch of my previous elkhound line! Keibou and Eliza's amazing talents live on! Also a big thanks to Breanne (Providence) for graciously hosting GK and GK Breedz once again! It is very much appreciated!
